Avrei voluto utilizzare il primo vero
post per una specie di presentazione ma visto che il tempo scorre e
ho già perso l'occasione di fare gli auguri di Buon Natale, ne
approfitto per fare quelli di Buon Anno. Grazie al progetto “La
casa di Ninni” che verrà lanciato nei prossimi mesi dalla Nickel
International il nuovo anno sembra presentarsi sotto una luce nuova e
stimolante. Questi auguri sono ovviamente estesi a tutti tutti tutti,
ma in particolare li dedico a coloro che partecipano al progetto. Ne
fanno parte artisti già affermati e artigiani con esperienza
pluriennale, il cuore pulsante che porta vitalità ed energia al vero
MADE IN ITALY. Ma ancora più nello specifico voglio dedicare questo
augurio a “quelle/i come me”: quelle che non possono farne a
meno, DEVONO CREARE; quelle che non resistono davanti ai colori,
siano essi rappresentati da vasetti di vernice, stoffe, bottoni o
perline; quelle che prima di addormentarsi ogni sera distrutte dalle
“normali” attività di
mamma-moglie-manager-cameriera-impiegata-cuoca-insegnante-disoccupata-donna
volante o qualunque altra cosa, vengono travolte da una tempesta di
idee che frullano in testa e spesso non fanno in tempo ad assumere
contorni nitidi e precisi perchè crolliamo dal sonno (ci penseremo
domani, appena avremo un minuto....eh già). A tutte noi che un
occasione come quella che ci ha proposto Rita la aspettavamo da tanto
e che, vada come vada, abbiamo tanto apprezzato l'entusiasmo che ci
ha trasmesso e che ci ha ricordato il piacere di vedere considerati i
nostri lavori e lavoretti. Vada come vada, per tutte e tutti, Buon
Anno: che sia pieno di soddisfazioni, di creatività ma soprattutto
di pace e serenità, che aiutano a vivere una vita piena e sana
(oltre che colorata, incollata, impastata, tagliata, cucita,
ricamata, dipinta e incartata) :-)
I actually wanted to use the first post
for some kind of introduction, but as time flies and I already missed
the chance to wish Merry Christmas, I take this opportunity to wish
Happy New Year. Thanks to “La casa di Ninni”, a project that will
be launched in a few months by Nickel International, the coming year
seems to shine of a brand new light. These wishes are for anyone
obviously, but in a special way they are dedicated to those involved
in the project. Many well known artists and artisans with several
years of experience will partecipate, those who I consider the
essential dynamic heart of the real MADE IN ITALY. But even more my
wishes want to reach those “like me”, the ones that cannot help
it, they HAVE TO CREATE, those who cannot resist to colors, either in
a jar of paint or a pile of buttons, a stack of fabrics or a bunch of
beads; those who lay down in bed wrecked after a day full of “normal”
activities as any
mommy-wife-waitress-manager-receptionist-teacher-unemployed or flying
woman, overwhelmed by a brainstorm of ideas but then fall asleep
before they turn into a real plan (we'll think about it tomorrow,
when we'll get a minute....sure). To all of us, that waited for so
long for a proposal like the one Rita offered and that after all, no
matter how the whole project will run for our products, we
re-discovered the pleasure of feeling appreciated, the enthusiasm that
she brought back into our hands and minds. No matter how everything
will work for each one of us, HAPPY NEW YEAR, wishing you all a load
of satisfaction, creativity but above all peace and serenity, both
necessary for a healthy happy life (but also colorful, sticky, cut,
sewn, embroidered, painted and wrapped) :-)
