So many babies just arrived or on the way...so sweet! So I take this chance to use the old flannel duvet cover: it is actually almost new, but it was definitely too warmfor our bed. It had the honour of becoming a set of washable breastpads and baby wipes... it's a great experience I had myself as on old set of bed sheets ad a few pijamas (all made of flannel) were my first attempt, during the second pregnancy. I am still using the wipes and the breastpads just passed to my friend that is suffering as much as I did during the first few weeks of breastfeeding. Hold on Lucy, after a little time breastfeeding became a sweet and lovely time to spend with the little ones... So here is the little gift for Ilaria that just have to wait a few more days. I hope I'll be able to make some for the shop soon!

...I try and try...every once in a while. Time to organize buttons. Cool the idea of glass jars, colorful and fun to look at, but not really space saving. Mmmm, definitely I should avoid buying a thousand new small plastic boxes, so? First attempt: since we started having "the girls" in the garden making eggs, friends and neighbours kept for us many egg boxes, why not using them?

Tryed but considering how many buttons I have, I would have needed a thousand egg boxes, and a giant cupboard to store them...

So here comes the "IKEA idea": the useful (and very much used) ikea re-sealable bags and a box I bought last time I was there!
Moooolto meglio! E quanto spazio guadagnato!
Much much better! And so much space left! With just two exception: brown buttons cannot go anywhere else but in this jar of cheese sauce for nachos I brought back last time I was in the States and I HAD TO finish just in order to put all my brown buttons there and, obviously, the vintage green box that grampa filled up himself with all the white-cream buttons...too many memories and too much love to chage! PS I almost forgot: ONE box for all the SPECIALS, big and colorful.
